1. Service Description
EasyBarPass is an AI-powered California Bar Examination study tool. The platform includes:
- Study content covering all 12 California Bar subjects
- Adaptive practice quizzes with original questions
- Alfred, an AI study coach powered by Anthropic Claude
- Cinco, a concept reinforcement tool providing five explanatory angles per legal concept
- AI-powered essay grading and feedback (Pro only)
- AI study plan generation (Pro only)
- Progress tracking and readiness dashboards
EasyBarPass is not a substitute for a licensed attorney, formal legal education, or an accredited bar preparation course. We make no guarantee that use of this platform will result in passing any bar examination.
2. Account Terms
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date.
- You may not share your account credentials with anyone else or allow others to access the platform through your account.
- We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
AI features on EasyBarPass — including Alfred, Cinco, essay grading, and study plan generation — are powered by the Anthropic Claude API (a third-party service). By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content is for educational purposes only and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
- AI responses do not constitute legal advice and should never be treated as the opinion or counsel of an attorney.
- No AI feature creates an attorney-client relationship between you and EasyBarPass or any third party.
- Essay grading feedback reflects AI analysis, not the assessment of an actual bar examiner. No AI grade predicts or guarantees your performance on the actual bar examination.
- You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for bar exam preparation. Use multiple resources and consult qualified professionals as appropriate.
- While all AI-generated study content is reviewed by licensed attorneys for accuracy, we make no warranty of completeness, correctness, or currency.
- EasyBarPass is not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on EasyBarPass — including but not limited to study materials, practice questions, explanations, platform design, and AI-generated content produced through the platform — is owned by or licensed to EasyBarPass.
- Original questions only. All practice questions are original and are not sourced from or affiliated with the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) or any copyrighted question bank.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or share platform content.
- You may not scrape, bulk-download, or use automated tools to extract content from the platform.
- You may not use AI-generated output from the platform to develop or train competing products or services.
- Your personal study data (quiz answers, essay submissions, chat history) remains yours. We use it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Pricing & Credits
Tiers
- Free Preview — $0. All 12 California Bar subjects accessible. 20 AI credits included. Alfred and Cinco available on all subjects, credit-metered (1 credit per turn or tap).
- Pro — $199 one-time payment. Everything in Free Preview, plus 300 AI credits, AI essay grading (5 credits per submission), AI study plan generation (first plan free, 2 credits per regeneration), PT simulator, and access to credit refill packs.
Credits
- Credits are consumed when you use AI features (Alfred, Cinco, essay grading, study plan).
- Credits do not expire and roll over indefinitely.
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
- Credit refill packs are available to Pro users: Small 100 credits ($19), Medium 250 credits ($39), Large 600 credits ($79). All purchases are one-time charges — there are no subscriptions or auto-charges.
Refund Policy
- Pro ($199): Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if fewer than 50 credits have been used. To request a refund, email team@easybarpass.com with your account email and purchase date.
- Credit refill packs: All refill pack purchases are final and non-refundable.
6. Acceptable Use
Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing account credentials with others is prohibited and may result in account termination.
You agree to use EasyBarPass only for your own personal bar exam preparation. You may not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, decompile, or exploit the platform or its underlying systems.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from the service.
- Submit offensive, illegal, defamatory, or harmful content through AI features (essay grading, Alfred chat, etc.).
- Attempt to manipulate the credit system or circumvent usage metering.
- Resell or commercially exploit access to or content from the platform.
- Misrepresent your identity or qualifications when creating an account.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. EasyBarPass may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance or infrastructure updates
- Third-party service outages (Anthropic, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel)
- Events beyond our reasonable control
We are not liable for any losses, including missed study time or exam impact, arising from service interruptions or downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
EasyBarPass is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We make no warranty that use of the platform will result in passing any bar examination.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EasyBarPass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of study time, or failure to pass any examination.
- Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to EasyBarPass in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to all registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Non-material changes (corrections, clarifications) may take effect immediately. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of EasyBarPass after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting team@easybarpass.com.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
- Upon termination, your right to access the platform ends immediately. Unused AI credits are forfeited and are not refundable upon account termination for Terms violations.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of EasyBarPass shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
